Meet The Team.
Josie Townsend is the founder of JT Physio and graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First-Class degree in Physiotherapy in 2021. She currently works as a Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and has extensive experience across neurological trauma and surgery, stroke rehabilitation, community neurological therapy, and orthopaedics.
Josie’s passion for JT Physio stems from a desire to deliver high-quality, personalised neurological rehabilitation in environments where patients feel most comfortable and confident. She is committed to supporting individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey, from the acute phase through to long-term recovery, with a strong focus on maximising independence and quality of life.
She is HCPC registered, CSP accredited, and a member of ACPIN, and practises in line with national, evidence-based clinical guidelines. Josie is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner, committed to providing patient-centred care tailored to each individual’s goals.
I am a specialist stroke and neurology physiotherapist working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Birmingham in 2021. My special interests lie within neurology, stroke, trauma and orthopaedics. Not only do I have experience across many different aspects of neurological rehabilitation including Spinal Cord injuries, FND, MS, Parkinson’s, I also have experience working with trauma and orthopaedics, oncology, amputees and elderly care patients.
Following my graduation from Cardiff University in 2021, I spent the following few years working in Wales, where my interest in neurology developed and I began to specialise in neurological physiotherapy. I then moved to London, joining Newham Hospital in East London, where I worked within the acute neurology and stroke team. In 2025, I moved to St Mary’s Hospital, where I continued to develop my neurological expertise within the neuro outlier team, whilst also supporting the Major Trauma Unit. Throughout my career, I have gained experience working with a wide range of neurological presentations across the patient pathway, from acute and rapid assessment settings through to community-based rehabilitation.
Rebekah Morris is a Specialist Physiotherapists who qualified from Cardiff University with a First-Class Honors degree in 2020. Rebekah worked for 5 years in Brighton Major Trauma Centre and has most recently relocated to London as is now a Highly Specialist Major Trauma Physiotherapist for Imperial College Healthcare Trust based in North West London. Rebekah has key experience in neurological rehabilitation, traumatic injury management alongside management of long term neurological conditions. Rebekah is passionate about delivering high-quality patient centre care and relishes the opportunity to work with individuals to work towards their rehabilitation goals.
